The purpose of this project is to create a conceptual gig poster for a made up band. I decided to explore some of my favorite songs for inspiration. The song 'Run Away to Mars' by TALK. I wanted to display the idea of this song of escaping from everything to mars but still longing for what you left. 

After exploring different concepts and ideas i decided to peruse the idea of the empty chair. It portrays the longing and loneliness. Then placing it on mars i thought was the perfect concept for this poster. 

After adding detail it still felt like something was missing. The vibrant colors was steering away from the look i was going for. After reflecting i decided to add some texture and an overlay. to help give it the final touches.
